This wheel is officially named Styling 392 (Double Spoke / Doppelspeiche 392) and was prominently featured as a standard or optional equipment package on the mid-2010s "Sport Line" trim packages.
Design & Aesthetics
- Spoke Geometry: It utilizes a Sporty 5 Double-Spoke (or split 5-spoke) architecture. The symmetric split elements span cleanly from the center bore housing directly to the outer wheel lip.
- Factory Finish: Finished natively in standard high-gloss Reflex Silver paint.
- Hub Profile: Features a 72.6mm center hub cavity optimized for classic 68mm BMW logo wheel caps.
Technical Engineering Data
Unlike the modern wheels discussed previously, this wheel belongs to an earlier generation of chassis technology, utilizing the larger bolt circle standard:
- Diameter & Width: 17" x 7.5J
- Offset: +37mm (ET37)
- Bolt Pattern (PCD): 5 x 120 mm (Older BMW standard; does not fit modern 5x112mm hubs)
- Center Bore (CB): 72.6 mm
Vehicle Compatibility
This rim was engineered primarily for the rear-wheel-drive and xDrive architectures of the F-generation 3 and 4 Series families:
- 3 Series: F30 Sedan (20122018), F31 Touring/Wagon (20122019), and F34 GT (Gran Turismo)
- 4 Series: F32 Coupe (20142020), F33 Convertible (20142020), and F36 Gran Coupe (20142020)
- Cross-Fit Fitment Note: Because it features a 5x120mm pattern, it will not clear or mount to newer G-Chassis 3/4 Series (2019+) or U-Chassis X1/X2 models, which require 5x112mm layouts. It can, however, be retrofitted backward onto older E90/E92 chassis generations as a down-sized winter tire setup.
