Similar to the previous part number we discussed, this module serves as a core electrical hub underneath the seating area to regulate and process power seat motor tracking, physical memory settings, and connected comfort options.
Vehicle Compatibility & Range
While the previous module was reserved strictly for the larger flagship models (like the X5, X7, and Rolls-Royce), 5B359E3 is a much more universal module. It spans an extensive range of BMW passenger vehicles and SUVs spanning from 2016 through 2025:
- Sedans & Coupes: Fits the 2 Series (228i, M240i), 3 Series (330i, M340i), and 7 Series luxury flagships (740i, 750i).
- SUVs (X-Series): Universally fits the BMW X3, X4, X5, X6, and X7 premium trim lines.
- Sports Cars: Used in the BMW Z4 roadster (as well as its sister platform, the Toyota GR Supra)
